A criminal investigator from Sulaiman-Too police station has been detained in Osh. He is suspected of extorting money. The operation was conducted by the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) jointly with the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Internal Investigations Service, the agency’s press center reported.
According to it, the criminal investigator A.M., abusing his position, extorted $200 from citizen Kh.A. for a favorable outcome during the review of pre-investigation materials.
