Two deputies of the Bishkek City Council, Kuvanychbek Kongantiev and Zhanybek Abirov, have resigned from their positions, the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan announced.
It was stated that Bekzat Mamyrkanov will replace Kuvanychbek Kongantiev, while Aibek Dunkanaev will take Zhanybek Abirov’s seat.
Earlier reports indicated that the resigning City Council deputies have been elected to the new composition of the Zhogorku Kenesh.
