A unified security service will work during the tourist season in Kyrgyzstan. The head of the Department of Public Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police colonel Maksatbek Klychev, announced on the air of Birinchi Radio.
According to him, this is a new service, which will include employees of the Interior Ministry, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Health.
«It will start functioning in June. Employees of the ministries will monitor the situation in their areas. The work is complex together with resorts and recreation areas. Mobile groups will be created, and routes will be developed for them,» Maksatbek Klychev said.
He added that in total, to ensure public safety in the summer period, it is planned to involve more than 5,000 employees of internal affairs bodies and servicemen of the Internal Troops, as well as more than a thousand voluntary people’s groups.
«A temporary headquarters is being established on the basis of Bosteri rural police department. To ensure law and order and security in Bishkek, Osh, Osh and Issyk-Kul regions, 146 tourist police officers who speak foreign languages and are equipped in material and technical terms, are involved. Mobile posts of the Main Traffic Safety Department will be set up on highways throughout the republic (not only in the direction of Issyk-Kul region),» Maksatbek Klychev said.
