Arrival of the second aircraft for the state-owned Asman Airlines Dash 8 400 from the Canadian manufacturer De Havilland Aircraft of Canada is expected in Kyrgyzstan. The press service of Manas International Airport reported.
According to it, the second aircraft is a turboprop twin-engine short-haul aircraft capable of carrying up to 80 passengers.
«Introduction of the new fleet of the national airline opens a new page in the history of civil aviation of the Kyrgyz Republic,» the statement says.
Recall, the first aircraft of Asman Airlines made its first technical flight on Bishkek-Talas route in September.
Asman Airlines was founded in 2023. During this time, it managed to prepare its team and train employees. The first Q400 aircraft, designed for 80 seats, arrived in the summer. The company plans to purchase a third aircraft by November.
Its pilots are trained by Canadian specialists, and its stewards are trained by the Russian airline Aurora, which successfully operates flights in the regions of the Russian Federation.
Asman Airlines also presented a new flight format, when the planes will fly in a triangular pattern — from one city to another with an intermediate landing. The airline will serve all 11 airports in Kyrgyzstan.
