The Bishkek City Hall will be exempted from payment of salaries to teachers in 2026. Finance Minister Almaz Baketayev said at a joint meeting of factions of Parliament.
According to him, more than 3 billion soms will be allocated from the republican budget for these purposes already in 2025.
«And then in 2026, 6.5 billion soms will be freed up in the Bishkek budget, which the municipality will be able to use for the development of the city,» the official said.
