When considering the draft budget for 2025 at a joint meeting of the factions of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan, deputy Gulya Kozhokulova asked why it did not provide money for the purchase of buses.
«Is everything okay with buses in Bishkek? Residents are complaining,» she said.
Vice Mayor of the city Mirlan Baigonchokov reported that public transport for the capital would be purchased in 2026 using investment funds. The money from the Asian Development Bank will be used to buy 120 electric buses, the European Development Bank — 100 buses, and the KMF bank — 60 buses.
