Kyrgyzstan will receive 1 billion soms from Eurasia non-governmental organization for the purchase of textbooks. The Minister of Education and Science Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva announced at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on social policy.
According to her, the issue is under the control of President Sadyr Japarov.
The minister noted that before this the Ministry of Finance allocated 152 million soms annually for the purchase of school textbooks. «The ministry plans to allocate 744 million soms for 2025. In addition, the Eurasia organization is allocating 1 billion soms,» she said.
At the meeting, the deputies considered the draft law on the republican budget of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2025 and the planning period 2026-2027 with the participation of the Minister of Finance Almaz Baketaev.
