Members of Kyrgyz youth team conquer Ama Dablam peak in the Himalayas

Members of the youth team of Kyrgyzstan conquered Ama Dablam peak in the Himalayas. The President of the Kyrgyz Mountaineering Federation Eduard Kubatov posted on Instagram.

According to him, climbers Mikhail Danichkin (captain, coach, master of sports of international class), Timur and Aidar Akbashevs and Zlata Kutanova climbed to a height of 6,814 meters, conquering the mountain.

Eduard Kubatov noted that the team will raise the flag of the Kyrgyz Republic, which was presented by the country’s president Sadyr Japarov, on the peak.

He also added that the Kyrgyzstanis restored three damaged stations and railings on the route.

Ama Dablam is a peak in the Himalayas (Nepal), located in Khumbu region, on the territory of the Sagarmatha National Park.

The height of the main peak is 6,814 meters, the lower peak is 5,563 meters. Despite its relatively small height, the mountain is well known for its shape. It is considered one of the most beautiful peaks in the vicinity of Everest.

It was first conquered on March 13, 1961.
