Deputy Alisher Kozuev raised the issue of the epidemiological situation regarding influenza and ARVI at a meeting of Parliament. He believes that many patients are registered to date.
«What type of flu is currently spreading throughout the republic? There are queues in hospitals, children are getting sick. Provide information,» he said, addressing the Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev.
According to the Minister of Health, 400 sick children are registered per day.
«We are taking all necessary measures. There are mobile clinics in the Third Children’s Hospital, infectious diseases hospitals, in Osh and Jalal-Abad regions. About 400 children are registered per day using the electronic queue,» he replied.
The deputy asked to clarify the type of virus and asked whether there were any patients with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan.
«This is not COVID-19. We have only five patients with coronavirus. The rest suffer from influenza type B,» the official said.
