The year 2023 was full of foreign policy events at the high and highest levels. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, announced at a press conference.
According to him, 22 visits have been made at the level of the head of state this year.
«Two state and three official visits were organized to Hungary, Russia, China, Mongolia and Japan, including 17 working visits to Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Saudi Arabia, Hungary, Tajikistan, USA, Germany, Uzbekistan, France, Belarus, Azerbaijan and the UAE,» Jeenbek Kulubaev said.
At the level of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers — 18 visits to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, UAE, USA, Russia, XUAR, Armenia, Germany and the UK.
At least 11 visits were organized at the level of speaker of the Parliament to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Korea, Russia, Belarus, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
About 86 visits and events with the participation of high-ranking officials of foreign states to Kyrgyzstan were worked out.
In total, 589 international treaties and documents have been prepared in 2023, of which 139 are bilateral and 450 are multilateral.
