At least 1,900 Kyrgyzstanis were deported from Russia for nine months of 2023. The head of the representative office of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation, Kubandyk Akmatbekov, voiced such data.
According to him, 2,200 citizens of Kyrgyzstan were deported from Russia in 2022. The official noted that the reason for deportation from the host country is a court decision on violation of migration laws.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported that 96,000 facts of violation of migration legislation were detected and 15,000 foreigners were deported as a result of Illegal Migrant 2023 operation.
