Contract serviceman of the border detachment of Batken region died due to a safety violation during special sporting events on November 8. The Information and Communications Department of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to preliminary data, 27-year-old warrant officer received a severe head injury and was urgently taken to the intensive care unit of the Batken Regional Hospital.
Doctors pronounced the soldier dead.
A forensic examination is currently underway.
All relevant authorities have been notified of the fact. An investigation has been launched.
