The Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan’s diocese donated humanitarian aid for the residents of Palestine. Its official website reported.
«The wounded are dying today from a lack of medicines, bandages, and donor blood in Gaza hospitals. Adults are desperately rushing around the streets in search of food and water for the survived children. Not everyone can go to a place where there are no bombs. How can a mother leave her injured child in the hospital? How can a man leave his disabled parents? People are getting closer to hospitals, settling in tents in the hope that the hospitals will not come under fire and that humanitarian aid will come there first.
Residents of the Gaza Strip have become hostages of one of the largest humanitarian disasters of the century. Its steely, strangling grip is only growing. Due to geopolitical factors, it is difficult to organize uninterrupted humanitarian traffic into the Srip. But thousands of people around the world have already joined forces to help those who could not escape the war. Kyrgyzstanis also joined this mainstream,» the statement says.
Several aid collections campaigns for civilians in Gaza are currently being held in Bishkek. The first part of the humanitarian cargo has already been delivered to the most affected area. Al Umma Charity Foundation helped do this. Its director, Mariyam Satarova, entered into a cooperation agreement with the Gaza Assistance Foundation, which has state accreditation for organizing assistance and is located in Turkey. The Foundation operates according to international standards and provides documentary and video reports on its work.
«It is blasphemous to translate into a political plane the natural desire of some people to help other people survive. The language of mercy, like the language of grief, is one. The heart speaks it... Listen to it — it will tell you what to do right now,» the diocese noted.
