About 2,800 legal entities and individuals carry out medical activities illegally (without a license) in Kyrgyzstan. The press center of the Ministry of Health reported.
According to it, during the raid on Osh market, Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, together with deputies of the Parliament Aida Isatbek kyzy and Chingiz Aidarbekov, visited private medical clinics and offices. None of them had permits for conducting medical activities.
Alymkadyr Beishenaliev stressed that the situation with illegal medical activities in the republic is extremely worrying.
«The lack of licenses at private clinics poses a serious threat to the health of our citizens. We cannot allow patients to be exposed to infectious diseases due to uncertified services. The help of deputies and the creation of appropriate legislation can solve this problem and strengthen control over medical activities in the country,» he said.
The Ministry of Health asked citizens to apply to licensed private medical clinics only.
