Citizens of Kyrgyzstan convicted in Krasnoyarsk will serve the remaining sentence in their homeland. The issue was discussed by the acting head of the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, Sergei Bychkov, and the Minister-Counselor of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Russian Federation, Aidai Omurkulova. Kuban news agency reported.
The parties discussed the fundamental and technical issues of transfer of citizens of Kyrgyzstan, who are in detention centers of Krasnoyarsk Krai, to their homeland to further serve their sentences.
Sergei Bychkov emphasized that social connections are of great importance for convicts and every person should be closer to family and home.
According to Aidai Omurkulova, the interaction between the Krasnoyarsk Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service and the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in this direction has positive dynamics.
