Foreign citizens were detained in Bishkek for violation of public order. The press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department reported.

According to it, the police received information at night that a group of foreigners was disturbing the peace of residents, loudly swearing and using obscene language, in the yard of one of the multi-storey buildings on Abdrakhmanov Street.

As a result, the police brought nine foreign citizens to the investigative service of the Internal Affairs Department of Sverdlovsky District.

The district police officers drew up a report based on Article 126 (petty hooliganism) of the Code of Offenses and sent it to the Sverdlovsky District Court for making a decision.

Six foreigners were arrested for three days, two were fined 5,500 soms.

Two of the detainees are students of capital’s universities. In connection with this, letters were sent to universities about their expulsion.

The Central Internal Affairs Department reminds about possible expulsions from higher educational institutions unilaterally for committing a crime or offense, violating the norms of generally accepted behavior in Bishkek.
