Citizens of Kyrgyzstan are leaders in the number of online registrations as self-employed people among foreigners in Russia. According to VTB, 44 percent of self-employed non-residents, who registered their status through a personal account in an Internet bank or mobile application, are from Kyrgyzstan.
Citizens of the Republic of Belarus make up a third of such users, about 20 percent are residents of Armenia and 5 percent are residents of Kazakhstan.
It is noted that the functionality of the personal account of the self-employed has been expanded for citizens of the EAEU countries. To connect, you just need to get a Russian Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), apply for a card at the bank office and undergo online registration procedure without visiting the Tax Service. The service allows to account for income and generate certificates, issue checks and send them to customers or cancel them if necessary.
«Self-employment allows to legally conduct business in Russia and not be afraid of inspections, work with legal entities, look for customers on online platforms and use other advantages to develop your business,» the head of the Corporate Digital Business Department — Senior Vice President of the Bank Spartak Slonin said.
