Vladimir Putin and Sadyr Japarov took part in the opening ceremony of the Russian President’s official visit to Kyrgyzstan.
Sadyr Japarov was the first to arrive at the ceremonial tent in Ala-Archa state residence. He greeted the company of honor guard and waited for the arrival of the guest. When Vladimir Putin appeared, the anthems of the two countries were played, then the company of honor guard marched. The presidents walked to the Congress Hall building, where a handshake ceremony took place.
The Russian President will visit Ata-Beyit memorial complex, where he will lay flowers at the memorial to the victims of the tragic events of 1916. Then Putin will return to the state residence, where he will hold talks with Sadyr Japarov in an expanded format.
Following the talks, a ceremony of signing joint documents will take place, after which Putin and Japarov will make a final statement to the media.
