The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan held another working meeting with representatives of commercial banks on issues of compliance with international sanctions. The press service of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Representatives of the bank told about a new list of UK sanctioned goods that can be used for military purposes, such as electronic components, conductors/semiconductors, electronic integrated circuits. The National Bank called on commercial banks to step up internal control and measures to prevent transactions with persons and goods on international sanctions lists.
«Banks were again reminded of the need for strict compliance with international sanctions given the current economic and geopolitical situation. Participants of the meeting also discussed the problems of commercial banks related to customer service and possible ways to solve them,» the statement says.
