Torugart-Avtodorozhny and Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhny checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border will be temporarily closed on September 29, and then from October 1 to October 3 at the initiative of the Chinese side and in connection with the Mid-Autumn Festival (September 29) and the Day of Founding the People’s Republic of China (October 1). The Border Service of the State Committee for National Security reported.
Citizens, vehicles and cargo will be passed through Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhny and Torugart-Avtodorozhny checkpoints on September 30, and then passage will resume on October 4.
