«The people who work in your orchestra are pure enthusiasts,» Yuri Chuguev, a conductor from Spain who will perform at the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abdylas Maldybaev, said at a press conference.
«They don’t pay you much money. But everyone tries hard,» he noted.
«Rehearsals take place on a very tight schedule. The musicians really try hard. Performing Spanish music with its complex rhythms is new for them,» the chief conductor of the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater Zakhar Butenko said.
It should be noted that the Spanish composer with the symphony orchestra of the theater will present his Malaga suite to the Kyrgyzstanis on September 29.
