Cinema audience of Kyrgyzstan will have access to foreign films with Kyrgyz subtitles from spring 2024. Talantbek Tolobekov, director of Kyrgyztasmasy State Film Center, said.
According to him, the film center has agreed on such an opportunity with the largest distributors of foreign films.
«The first step has been made in the issue of dubbing foreign films in Kyrgyz. Subtitling is a better option at the first stage, as dubbing and synchronized voice-over translation require a large budget,» Talantbek Tolobekov said.
