President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov met with the Chief Ombudsman of Turkey Şeref Malkoç, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the head of state reported.
The parties exchanged views on the issues of intensifying bilateral cooperation in the field of human rights protection on the basis of generally recognized principles and norms of international law. The President of Kyrgyzstan appreciated Malkoç’s intention to establish contacts between the Institutes of Ombudsmen of the two countries and exchange experience.
Sadyr Japarov noted that strategic cooperation and fraternal relations between the two countries are growing stronger every day, and expressed confidence that Şeref Malkoç’s rich experience in public service will make a significant contribution to further strengthening bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
In turn, Şeref Malkoç thanked Sadyr Japarov for his hospitality and conveyed greetings from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He noted the dynamically developing bilateral relations based on brotherhood and stressed the need to strengthen partnership in the field of human rights protection.
Şeref Malkoç, having informed about the memorandum signed during the visit on expansion of cooperation between the Ombudsmen of the two countries, expressed readiness for close cooperation with Kyrgyz colleagues through mutual visits and exchange of experience.
