Man wanted for murder in Kazakhstan detained in Bishkek

A Kazakhstani, suspected of committing a serious crime in his homeland, was hiding in Dzhal microdistrict in Bishkek. Press service of the Interior Ministry reported.

In February 2023, unknown people organized a mass brawl in front of a cafe in Astana. As a result, a 28-year-old man was taken to the hospital with knife wounds. The victim died without regaining consciousness.

According to the investigation, the participants of the fight used cold weapons. A criminal case under Article 106 «Intentional infliction of serious harm to health, causing the death of the victim by negligence» of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan was initiated.

A citizen of Kazakhstan, 28, a resident of Akmola region, was put on the wanted list. It turned out that he illegally crossed the border and was hiding in Bishkek.

The Kazakhstani was detained on August 29 in Dzhal microdistrict, where he was hiding in a rented apartment, and was taken into custody.
