The military contingent of Kyrgyzstan is participating in the CSTO exercises Combat Brotherhood in Belarus. The Ministry of Defense of Belarus reports.
The military contingents from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, who will take part in the joint operational-strategic exercises of the CSTO Combat Brotherhood 2023, arrived at the airfield of the 61st Fighter Air Base in Baranovichi (Brest Oblast).
«Military contingents from the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan have arrived at the airfield of the 61st Fighter Air Base in Baranovichi to take part in the Combat Brotherhood 2023 joint operational-strategic exercises,» the statement says.
The joint operational-strategic exercises of CSTO Combat Brotherhood — 2023 will be held on the territory of Belarus from September 1 to September 6. Within its framework, it is planned to conduct joint and special exercises. In particular, use of forces and means of the collective security system to resolve the crisis in the Eastern European region of the CSTO will be trained at Interaction 2023 exercise. Reconnaissance units will be used as part of Search 2023 exercise, and during Echelon 2023 exercise, the military will work out the actions of forces and means of logistics. At the special exercise Barrier 2023, a joint formation of radiation, chemical and biological protection and medical support will be created.
