Head of the Cabinet of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov, as part of his working trip to Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR) of China, met with the Chairman of the Board of Qingdao Laoshan Mineral Water Co., Ltd. Wang Da.
The official noted the unused potential of the country’s water resources and expressed willingness to assist in all areas of bilateral cooperation.
«We stand at the source of glaciers and are ready to export pollutant-free drinking water to China, European and Asian countries. We need the experience of companies like Laoshan,» he said.
Qingdao Laoshan Mineral Water Co., Ltd., which produces water and beverages, has expressed interest in exporting drinking water, the Cabinet’s press service reported.
Akylbek Japarov also visited the Free Economic Zone of Urumqi, where he familiarized himself with the activities of bonded zones (places of duty-free electronic trade). He instructed the Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev to organize similar bonded zones on the basis of Bishkek Free Economic Zone, noting that Kyrgyzstan will create all conditions for the development of e-commerce and attraction of investments.
