The institute of mentoring has been introduced in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration reported.
The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution on Approval of the Model Regulations on Mentorship at an Enterprise (Organization).
«Mentoring is the process of transferring knowledge, skills and abilities from the most qualified specialists of an enterprise or organization to students, young professionals who do not have work experience, or employees appointed to a position in which they do not have work experience,» the ministry informed.
According to the regulation, mentors will provide methodological and practical assistance in improving professional knowledge, skills and abilities for better performance of job duties by young specialists. Mentors will also help to adapt in the team.
The Ministry of Labor clarified that the initiative to adopt the resolution was put forward by the business community in 2020 at a meeting of the Council for Business Development and Investment.
