Cafe chef beaten in Chok-Tal village, suspects detained

A cafe chef was beaten in Chok-Tal village. Suspects have been detained. Press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Issyk-Kul region reported.

A 36-year-old resident of Bishkek turned to the police. According to him, on the night of August 13, three unknown men, threatening with a knife, beat the chef of Meduza cafe on the territory of Solnyshko resort.

The injured 20-year-old resident of Chui region was hospitalized in the regional territorial hospital.

The statement was registered, and a criminal case was initiated under Article 280 «Hooliganism» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Residents of Chok-Tal village, 21-year-old A.N., 24-year-old Sh.A., and 22-year-old resident of Naryn region A.A. were detained as suspects. They were placed in the pretrial detention center.

Investigation is underway.
