Four suspects of the murder of a 23-year-old vacationer in Bosteri village were detained. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
Earlier, a special investigative and operational group of the Internal Affairs Department of Issyk-Kul region was formed for a comprehensive and objective investigation of the incident, which included experienced employees of the investigative, operational, forensic services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the police, the wife, friends of the deceased, police officers, who ensure public security in the area, and witnesses were interrogated, as well as a citizen, who provided first aid to the deceased.
In addition, 44 witnesses were questioned.
An additional forensic medical examination was scheduled on August 7, which was entrusted to the bureau of forensic medical examinations of Kara-Buura district of Talas region.
The fact was registered on August 8, a criminal case was initiated under Article 122 «Murder» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Police officers interrogated employees of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops located near the scene.
Some of those interrogated as witnesses gave false testimony, their actions are given a legal assessment.
Suspects of committing the crime were brought to the police: one resident of Bishkek, 32, and three residents of the Issyk-Kul region, 29 and 28.
23-year-old vacationer died in Bosteri village on Solotiye Peski beach on August 6. Friends claim that he was beaten by eight guys. The President of the country took this case under his personal control.
