Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov visited a number of industrial enterprises during his working trip to Chui region. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
Akylbek Japarov visited Junda Oil Refinery in Kara-Balta city. The head of the Cabinet got acquainted with the production areas of the plant and held a meeting with the management of China Petrol Company LLC.
The issues of launching and modernizing the plant, which has been idle since 2019, were discussed.
The head of the Cabinet also visited Dan state flour mill, which provides jobs for more than 90 people. Since the beginning of 2023, the enterprise has been providing the State Material Reserves Fund with wheat. To date, the warehouses of the enterprise store more than 1,000 tons of flour.
During the inspection, Akylbek Japarov stressed the priority task of the Cabinet of Ministers to support state-owned production enterprises and noted the need for their modernization.
«We are in the ’age of accelerated development’, we need to keep up with these changes, otherwise we risk being left behind. Prepare business projects, do not stand still, the state represented by financial institutions, development funds will provide the necessary support,» he said.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers also visited Dekna Bishkek Textile production enterprise, where he got acquainted with the production process and examined working warehouses of the enterprise. The enterprise is planning to expand production, Akylbek Japarov instructed to provide comprehensive support in the implementation of this plan.
He did not forget about Kara-Balta Distillery. The head of the Cabinet noted that, using the example of the Mailuu-Suu Electric Bulb Plant in Jalal-Abad region, all state-owned factories and enterprises need to upgrade their equipment to meet international standards for their products, which are constantly updated as a result of accelerating the pace of technology development.
«As for economic indicators, Kara-Balta Distillery fulfilled last year’s annual indicators for six months. This is a good result. It is necessary to resolve the issue of increasing the wages of the factory workers. The salaries of civil servants are now higher than that of the «private sector», it is necessary to «catch up,» Akylbek Japarov said.
On the way to the capital, the head of the Cabinet also got acquainted with the activities of the plant for the production of building materials Stroy Service Plus and visited the facility under construction of this plant «Youth Quarter» in the southern part of the capital.
