Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev met with Germany’s Special Commissioner for Migration Agreements Joachim Stamp.
The parties discussed issues of education, migration and visas. The German side was invited to consider the issue of facilitating the issuance of visas for study and work in Germany. In this direction, emphasis was placed on expanding bilateral cooperation. The parties discussed the possibility of signing an appropriate agreement on this issue between the state bodies of Kyrgyzstan and Germany.
It was noted that 40 students from Kyrgyzstan will be sent to Bavaria in September 2023 to receive vocational education for a period of three years, followed by employment in Germany. Kyrgyz students will get education in medicine, information technology, tourism and construction.
In turn, Joachim Stamp stressed interest in the further development of the Kyrgyz-German cooperation and noted the importance of establishing long-term cooperation in the field of employment of Kyrgyzstanis.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to bolster cooperation on these issues.
