Volume of the loan portfolio of banking sector customers in the first half of 2023 amounted to 228.4 billion soms and increased by 11.9 percent. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
Including loans for industry amounted to 12.9 billion soms (decrease by 5.8 percent), for agriculture — 41.5 billion soms (increase by 12 percent), for trade — 64.2 billion soms (increase by 14.3 percent), for construction — 12.2 billion soms (decrease by 5.3 percent).
In addition, 26.3 billion soms in loans were provided for mortgage (an increase of 8.1 percent), consumer loans — 42 billion soms (increase of 27.1 percent) and other loans — 29.1 billion soms (increase of 8.8 percent).
