Employees of the prosecutor’s office of Saratov Oblast of Russia completed a check in respect of a 43-year-old citizen of Kyrgyzstan. The latter was wanted for embezzlement of entrusted property. Website of the agency reports.
The citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic was put on the wanted list in his homeland. According to the prosecution, in December 2018, being the founder and director of an organization, he stole 100,000 soms entrusted to him, transferred to the legal entity headed by him as the winner in the tender for a playground fencing.
In March 2023, he was detained while passing through border control in Ozinsky district of Saratov Oblast.
The prosecutor’s office has taken measures to take the man into custody, and prepared an appropriate conclusion on the possibility of his extradition to Kyrgyzstan.
