The first batch of new buses is expected to arrive in Kyrgyzstan by August 15. Press service of the City Hall confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
According to it, there are 50 buses in the batch.
The buses purchased under the EBRD project will arrive in the country. According to the Department of Transport of the City Hall, a contract was signed with Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus on August 18, 2022 for the delivery of 124 buses with a length of 10 meters. Under the terms of the contract, the start of delivery of goods is determined from the date of prepayment. On February 13, 2023, 10 percent of the sum was paid as advance payment. The first 20 buses are scheduled to arrive in 24 weeks, other 60 — in 32 weeks and the remaining 44 — in 38 weeks after the advance payment.
