Kyrgyzstan plans to increase the monthly allowance for relatives of those killed as a result of the invasion of Tajikistan in April 2021 and September 2022. The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration submitted the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers for public discussion.
Additional monthly allowance is paid to:
- Children of killed persons until they reach the age of majority;
- Parents (father, mother) of deceased persons — upon reaching retirement age, if the deceased was an only child — for life;
- Victims recognized as persons with disabilities — from the date of registration of disability until the expiration of the conclusion of the medical and social expert commission.
The draft resolution provides for an increase in the size of the allowance from 3,700 soms to 5,500 soms.
