A mobile computer tomography scanner has been put in operation at the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy in Bishkek. Press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The ministry recalled that in January, within the framework of international Kyrgyzstan — Japan cooperation, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy, the Radiological Technology International Cooperation Academy (Japan) and Sansei Corporation (Japan).
«This project will allow training specialists in Kyrgyzstan, examining the population in hard-to-reach regions of the country for free, diagnosing various diseases at an early stage, which will allow patients to be treated without complications, additional interventions and at low costs. The mobility of the computed tomography scanner and free examination will shorten the patient’s path to the doctor and the expensive type of examination, as well as solve the financial difficulties of the population,» the ministry said.
