Russia will simplify the registration procedure for migrants who came to work from Kyrgyzstan. Changes in the Russian legislation will take effect from November 2023. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The new law will allow Kyrgyzstanis to legally register in the Russian Federation using the registration mechanism of a notification nature.
According to the innovation, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic will be able to independently notify the migration registration authorities in electronic form about their arrival and the arrival of their children in the country at the place of temporary residence. To use the service, a migrant and a homeowner in Russia, where the migrant plans to temporarily settle, must create personal accounts in the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services system and register on the Unified System of Identification and Authentication portal.
