The Xi’an Declaration was adopted following the results of the first Central Asia — China summit of the heads of states in the city of Xi’an (PRC). Press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The document was signed by the head of state Sadyr Japarov, President of China Xi Jinping, Presidents of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
In addition, the following documents were signed during the summit:
- Memorandum of Understanding on industrial and investment cooperation;
- Memorandum of Understanding on strengthening trade and economic cooperation;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the states of Central Asia and China on cooperation in the field of digital trade;
- Memorandum of Understanding to promote development of cooperation in the field of infrastructure and engineering construction;
- Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of a mechanism for meeting of Ministers of Agriculture;
- Regulation on the mechanism of the meeting of heads of Customs Services;
- Memorandum of Understanding on technical cooperation in the field of import and export, animal and plant quarantine between the competent authorities;
- Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the establishment of Central Asia — China Business Council.
