«China — Central Asia mechanism will become an authoritative regional association with original specifics,» President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said in an interview with People’s Daily newspaper.
According to him, regional issues affect the interests of all countries of Central Asia. The current situation requires them to strengthen political contacts, deepen trade and economic cooperation, jointly respond to traditional and non-traditional threats and challenges to regional peace, security and stability.
«Close interaction, development of multifaceted cooperation is the guarantor of the viability of China — Central Asia format itself. I believe that this mechanism will promote a peaceful policy and actively develop trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation,» Sadyr Japarov said.
The President of Kyrgyzstan stressed that in the conditions of a difficult international situation, it is necessary to develop effective measures and take concrete actions to ensure security, peace and stability in the world and the region.
From this point of view, the initiatives in the field of global development, global security and global civilization proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping are timely and feasible. They are aimed at promoting the political, economic and social development of various countries, raising the standard of living of people, and achieving common development and prosperity.
«No country can effectively fight «three evil forces», transnational crime, drug trafficking, arms smuggling, illegal migration alone. We can only achieve results through joint efforts,» the head of state concluded.
