In connection with the aggravation of the situation as a result of armed clashes between the regular army and the rapid reaction forces in Sudan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic again recommends citizens of Kyrgyzstan to refrain from traveling to this country. Those who are in Sudan are advised to avoid visiting areas near airports, military bases and the government quarter, and stay in their places of residence.
According to the latest information from the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, seven citizens of Kyrgyzstan are staying in Sudan, three of whom work in the UN office in Khartoum.
The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Saudi Arabia will continue to work on clarifying information about the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who are staying in the Republic of Sudan.
