Nic Bowler, appointed Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Kyrgyz Republic in succession to Charles Garrett, recorded the first video message. It was posted on Twitter.
According to Nic Bowler, he will be posting more to inform about what he is doing in the UK in preparation for his mission in Kyrgyzstan.
«One very interesting meeting is scheduled for today, but it is too early to share the details,» the Ambassador wrote.
Nic Bowler will take up his appointment during June 2023. From 2020 to the present, he worked in Kyiv. He headed the Programs Department at the British Embassy.
From 2017 to 2020, he led the group on governance and security in the occupied Palestinian territories. In 2015-2017, he was the Deputy and Acting Development Director of the Department for International Development in Kyrgyzstan.
From 2014 to 2015, he worked in Kabul as Governance Adviser.
The ex-ambassador of the UK to Kyrgyzstan Charles Garrett completed his diplomatic mission in November 2022.
