The Russian State Social University plans to open a branch in Bishkek this year, medical specialties will become priority areas of training. TASS reported with reference to the press service of the university.
«This year, the Russian State Social University, as part of the development of educational and scientific activities in the CIS and BRICS countries, plans to open a branch in Bishkek. This will be the third one abroad. According to plans, specialists in a number of humanitarian and social areas will be trained in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Priority will be such specialties as «General Medicine» and «Higher Nursing Care,» the statement says.
It is noted that it is planned to train more than 3,000 students annually in the new branch.
«We record a great interest in obtaining a Russian education among both Kyrgyz youth and applicants from other Asian countries. The change in the international situation over the past year indicates that the friendly countries of the eastern region see Russia as a strategic partner. Training specialists in accordance with Russian standards is one of the most important areas of our cooperation,» said Andrey Khazin, rector of the Russian State Social University.
