The Ministers of Health of Kyrgyzstan and Russia discussed issues of bilateral cooperation. Press center of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The meeting of the ministers took place in Moscow as part of the visit of Gulnara Baatyrova to Russia to participate in the first Kyrgyz-Russian Women’s Forum.
«The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation in the field of healthcare, noted the steady dynamics of interaction at the interdepartmental level, including between medical institutions, confirmed their mutual intention to intensify joint work to improve the health of the population and the system of organizing medical care,» the ministry noted.
The Minister of Health of Russia Mikhail Murashko announced readiness of the Russian side to increase the number of places for medical personnel from Kyrgyzstan at the research and practice seminars.
Gulnara Baatyrova paid special attention to the need to continue the dialogue in order to find mutually acceptable options for resolving issues related to the provision of medical care to members of families of citizens of Kyrgyzstan working in Russia and to facilitate the procedure for passing a medical examination.
