Resident of Talas region tries to sell almost 9 kilograms of drugs

A resident of Talas region was detained while trying to sell a large batch of drugs. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

«On February 7, employees of the State Service on Drug Control received information that a resident of Kara-Buura district is engaged in drug trafficking. Suspect was detained the next day at his house while trying to sell 8,789 grams of marijuana for 60,000 soms per kilogram,» the statement says.

The detainee was placed in the temporary detention center of the Osh Department of Internal Affairs — at the place where the criminal case was initiated. The investigation is ongoing.
