Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov met with entrepreneurs in Batken region. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
Akylbek Japarov noted that the state provided support to entrepreneurs in restoring the business that suffered during last year’s events. The Ministry of Finance is working on concluding agreements with each affected entrepreneur in the region to provide preferential loans.
«On the other hand, entrepreneurs should pay special attention to the development of agriculture, especially horticulture in the border regions. To do this, it is advisable to make a joint decision and plant the same fruit-bearing trees everywhere,» the head of the Cabinet said.
Entrepreneurs who have suffered losses are provided with a one-time compensation in the amount of 300,000 soms, as well as a loan for a period of 5 years at 1 percent per annum. Presidential Envoy to Batken region Abdikarim Alimbaev said that out of 269 individual entrepreneurs, 79 businessmen received material assistance in the amount of 300,000 soms, a total of 23.7 million soms were paid.
The head of the Cabinet added that the state would help develop the drip irrigation system in the region. The head of the Leilek regional state administration, was instructed to make proposals with the necessary calculations for planting trees on an area of 500 hectares.
