Another Kyrgyzstani who was serving a sentence in Russia died in Ukraine. Erlan Ermekov was 30 years old. Azattyk reported, citing the mother of the deceased.
According to the media outlet, Erlan Ermekov was convicted in 2019 on charges of robbery and rape, and was later recruited into Wagner Group PMC. He participated in the war for about four months.
The woman noted that she learned about the death of her son on February 20. She was told that he had died on February 6.
Information about the death of a 30-year-old resident of Kochkor-Ata, Ayan Alisherov, appeared in January. In 2019, he was convicted in Russia for kidnapping and extortion. He died on November 24 last year on the territory of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
