Ukraine will receive a new $500 million military aid package from the U.S. Deutsche Welle reported.
«The head of the White House said in the Ukrainian capital that the new military assistance to Kyiv would include artillery ammunition for HIMARS. Joe Biden stressed that Washington would support Ukraine as long as needed,» the statement says.
It is noted that the package will include critical equipment. It will include artillery ammunition, anti-tank systems and air surveillance radars.
U.S. President Joe Biden arrived in Kyiv on an unannounced visit on February 20. He met with the country’s leader Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian military and intelligence, as well as diplomats.
