It is specified that the Government of the Russian Federation approved the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to open Consulates General of the Kyrgyz Republic in St. Petersburg and Kazan.
The representative office of the Kyrgyz Republic in the city on the Neva will be in charge of the consular district, which includes Karelia, Komi, Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Kaliningrad, Murmansk, Novgorod, Pskov and Leningrad Oblasts.
The Consulate General in Kazan will be responsible for the territories of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Mari El, the Republic of Mordovia, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Udmurt Republic, the Chuvash Republic and the Ulyanovsk Oblast.
Consulates General of Kyrgyzstan work in Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk. There are branches of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in several other cities of Russia (Vladivostok, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Surgut, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Yakutsk).
