Labor migrants from Kyrgyzstan committed more than 3,000 crimes in Russia in 2022. Data of the situational analysis of the Solidarity Center in the Kyrgyz Republic say.
«In total, migrant workers committed 37,000 crimes last year, which is 9.8 percent more than in January-November 2021, including 30,400 crimes by citizens of the CIS member states, which is 15.2 percent more than a year earlier. According to statistics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in 2021, people from Central Asia committed 17.1 percent of all crimes committed in Moscow. It should be noted that more than 3,900 crimes, or 10.7 percent, were committed by citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic. Kyrgyzstanis also take the first place among migrants brought to administrative responsibility,» the study says.
It was noted that crimes committed against citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are also in the first place — 17.5 percent of the total.
