A man drowned in Big Chui Canal in Novopokrovka village, Chui region. Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The incident happened on Wednesday in Volna area. Rescuers, policemen and relatives were called to save the 54-year-old man. However, the search yielded no results.
It will continue on Thursday.
